Some Tips for Self-Care When You’re Under the Weather

Being sick at college blows and unfortunately I woke up early yesterday morning with an awful cold. I have a headache, sore throat, and nasal congestion…it is no fun to say the least. All I want is to curl up in bed and be taken care of by my mom. I know that sounds lame, but my mom is the best and when I’m not feeling well all I desperately want is to be loved and doted on haha, I can be a little needy, but hey when you’re sickly:

In order to get through this icky cold I thought I would come up with some tips for self-care that will hopefully make me feel better sooner 🙂

Get lots and lots of sleep.

So this is the reality of what my weekend will consist of and hopefully by taking it easy I will be well soon:

  1. Awww Britty, I’m sorry you don’t feel well!! Make sure you take care of yourself-drink lots of water and take your medicine. Call me if you feel worse. 😦 love you sweetie!!
